Alcohol

Can I take alcohol into the Event?

No. We have a fully licenced bar and all proceeds go back to supporting this event. We ask that all attendees respect this rule. Anyone found with alcohol from elsewhere will be asked to leave.

Animals

Can I bring animals?

Dogs are allowed under the following rules:
– Dogs must be on a lead at all times
– Dogs are the responsibility of the owner
– Dog waste must be bagged and binned immediately
-We reserve the right to reject a dog from the site if it is being aggressive/behaving badly or if we feel the dog owner isn’t following the rules.

Under 18 / Families

Do I need ID?

Yes, if you look under 25 we will ask for an ID to confirm age for tickets and at the bar.

What are valid forms of ID?

We accept as I.D: Passports, Driving Licences, Young Scot Cards, Citizen Cards or any other photo I.D with a PASS logo.

Can I bring my buggy?

Yes.

Can I bring baby food or baby milk?

Yes

What should I do if I lose my child at the festival?

Find a steward (in a hi-vis jacket) and they will help you.

Do I need a Ticket for a babe in arms or toddler?

Yes. This is just for reasons of safety so we can monitor audience numbers.

Are children allowed?

Yes, however, under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

Accessibility

Is there disabled parking?

Yes

Are all areas of the festival accessible by wheelchair?

Yes; however please bear in mind this is an outdoor event and conditions could become muddy and slippery at some areas of the field. There will be a designated viewing area in the stretch tent reserved for folk who would like it and matting over the grass from that area to the accessible toilet. Let us know if you require extra support on the day by speaking to anyone in a hi-vis or those at the welcome tent and we will do all we can to help.

Are there disabled toilets?

Yes. They will be located near the stretch tent by the main entrance.

Accommodation / Travel

Camping

Local camping is available through Moyle Campsite. To book head to their website https://www.moyleparkcampsite.co.uk/

Transport to campsite

A shuttle bus will be running back and forth throughout the day to the Moyle Campsite. This will be a request service, see sign at the campsite for more info.

Parking

You can book a parking ticket for the festival through the ticket page for Drams 2026. If you will be parking outwith these areas we ask that you write a note and place it one your dashboard stating ‘here for Drams in the Field and a contact number’ This prevents any unnessesary worries about abandoned vehicles or missing people.

General Event Info

Family Day

From 12pm until 4pm there will be family activities at the festival site. To make this accessible, tickets for this are £2 only and available on our ticket page. If you have a ticket for general admission to Drams this covers access on the Saturday from 12pm till 12am. More info about activities on our family day on our family day page.

Drams Evening

From 5pm on Saturday 23rd May our main evening of events will start. You must have a ticket for this and if you are only attending the family day you will be asked to leave at 4pm.

The Fringe

On the friday evening before Drams and the whole of Sunday the Fringe is a series of (mostly free) events located at 4 different venues across the village – the Glenelg Inn, the Glenelg Skye Ferry, the Village Hall and Dun Brewing. Two events are ticketed: Cahalen Morrison gig at the brewery and our final event, the Survivors Ceilidh. See our ticket page and our Fringe page for more info.

Last Entry

Last entry into the field is at 10pm but we recommend arriving from the start and supporting all of our amazing acts!

End of the Night

The field will be cleared at 12am. We ask for your help with this as our local residents need to get to their beds!

Tickets

We take a lot of time and care to create ticket prices that are as affordable as possible while keeping our event sustainable for the future. However, we realise that for some the price may be prohibitive. If this is the case, please get in touch and we will see what we can do. info@dramsinthefield.com

Food / Drink

We have a fully licenced bar, a coffee tent and 3 incredible food trucks serving a wide variety of food that will have you covered for the day.

BYOC Bring Your Own Cup

Bring your own cup to the event to help us reduce waste. The bar and the coffee tent will be more than happy to make your drink in your vessel of choice.
