SATURDAY LINE UP

FACE THE WEST

Formed in a Harris Tweed mill in 1998, Face The West are truly one of the originators of electro-trad. Taking early influence from renegades such as Wolfstone and Martyn Bennett, they have since blazed their own trail through Scottish traditional music.

FRAS

FRAS have stormed their way through the West coast of Scotland and beyond with their iconic pipe heavy sound. A thundering four piece from na Garbh Chrìochan of box, flute, pipes and guitar.
More than just a shower, a heavy downpour: FRAS

AN DANSA DUB

An Dannsa Dub (The Dub Dance in Gaelic) is the brainchild of dub vocalist & producer Tom Spirals and Scottish traditional musician Euan McLaughlin formed in 2020. The 6 piece live band fuses the mystical energy and instruments of traditional Scottish music and Gaelic song with the heavy, meditative, driving basslines digital dub music. They call it ‘Future Dub from Ancient Scotland’.

CARNAN

CÀRNAN is an upcoming and energetic Scottish Indie Folk band with a Funkier Take on Trad. The indisputable synergy of lively accordion (Louden MacKay) backed by thunderous guitar (Arthur Brook Young) gives the band a powerful and driven sound.
